Why Cash app keeps saying that I’ve added too much money and need to wait a few days before I can add more.

Cash App is a proven digital payment app available in the United States. The importance and popularity of this app are evident from its user base. At present, approximately more than 40 million active users are there on Cash App. One can find the app on Google Play Store and App Store as it is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms. It is a free payment application, download the same and install it. Create an account on Cash App and start sending or receiving payments instantly with a mobile wallet or linked bank account.

To protect users from online fraud and minimize the risk of losing money online, there is a specific sending or receiving limit on cash app . When you set up an account, Cash App lets you send $250 in a week and receive up to $1,000 in 30 days.

If Cash App keeps saying that you have added too much money and need to wait a few days before you can add more, it means you are exceeding the current Cash App limit. You can't exceed the current cash App limit until you verify the account.

However, you can increase Cash App limit after verifying your identity on cash app. You can verify your account as per the following steps:

  • Go to your account on Cash App.
  • Visit the profile tab at the top right corner.
  • Go to your 'Personal' tab and add the personal details.
  • Provide your full name, date of birth and last four digits of SSN to verify the account.
  • Save the change and proceed.

Once the cash app verification is complete, you will be eligible to send $7,500 per week and receive an unlimited amount. Cash App will verify your account only if you are 18 or above. You can seek help from Cash App support if needed.
